Donna OConnor AAT (FAA)

DONNA O’CONNOR has a specialty focus on the history, theory, and philosophy of astrology. This is based upon studying the authentic essence and informing functions of symbolism and the sacred. A tandem field is the Hermetic teachings. An FAA accredited astrology teacher, she also holds a Diploma Honours with the Astrological Guild of Educators International for The Lost Doctrine of Sect, a research thesis on an ancient Hellenistic principle. Donna has spoken many times to the public, students and fellow practitioners, including the 2008 Sydney FAA Conference under QFA sponsorship. Along with her colleague Richard Smykowsky she has been presenting The Astrology Project, a series of lecture intensives in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. Most of all, her passion is to encourage thoughtfulness and deepen reflection on astrological practice. She is experienced and available as an astrological consultant for researchers, historians, journalists and other media commentators.
