Donna OConnor AAT (FAA)

DONNA O’CONNOR is a thought-provoking speaker, known for “making a chart come alive”. She has delivered lectures to both the general public and astrological organisations, including the FAA International conference in Sydney 2008. Ardent and questioning, she has undertaken deep research into astrology’s authentic history and philosophical quintessence, with emphasis on the informing functions of symbolism, myth and the sacred. A tandem speciality is Hermetic history and teachings.

Donna believes the learning of the Art is an ongoing lifetime process. One critical aim is to reconcile ancient astrology with contemporary practice in our psychological post-modern era. Donna holds a Diploma Honours with the Astrological Guild of Educators International for a research thesis The Lost Doctrine of Sect, an important Hellenistic technique.

An FAA accredited teacher and author of The Mercurius Tutorials, she offers private mentoring. Her students have achieved well, including the Gold Medal winner for Overall Excellence in 2003. A trained and practiced counsellor, she is available and experienced as a specialist astrological consultant for researchers, historians, journalists and media commentators.
